Hand Building / Paperclay porcelain – Black Iris / Einat Cohen

A follow up workshop to improve and refine working with porcelain slabs to attain material qualities and complex forms, whether abstract or realistic, sculptural or functional.  We will work inspired by the flower paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe, who created an abstract system of imagery inspired by desert landscape shapes and the organic structure of a flower, and used them to express her feelings as a woman and a human being.

Experience in hand building required – intended for graduates of the paper clay workshop.
