Textura – an on-line magazine for material culture published by the Benyamini Contemporary Ceramics Center – was established to create a platform for an on-going, interesting, meaningful, and contemporary dialogue about ceramic art and design, considering local and global history of material culture. The aim is to encourage local writers to research and delve into the broad field of ceramics and material culture and to encourage a professional discussion in this field. In Textura you will find a continually updated collection of articles, interviews, personal columns, discussions, and reviews of the ceramic field in Israel and abroad providing different views on the subject. The magazine is directed to a varied audience, professional as well as the general public, interested in broadening their knowledge and curious to participate in a dynamic conversation that touches on disciplines with parallel bodies of knowledge.
