John Higgins is a ceramic artist, with a fresh and loose approach to making with clay. He is inspired by contemporary architecture and forms. He begins by making work on the wheel, deconstructs the forms, layers the colors and re-creates vibrant, expressive pieces. His unconventional approach with color and lines emphasize the three dimensional sculptures that he creates.
