The Benyamini Center is participating in the Loving Art – Making Art event organized by the Tel Aviv municipality and focusing on the various art centers that have artist studios as part of the complex. Visitors to the center during this special event will be able to enjoy a special sound performance as well as various demonstrations and presentations focusing on the artists that have participated in the First Studio program over the years.

10:30 – 11:30 BEHIND THE SCENES IN THE STUDIO – The resident artists will present all the steps in the ceramic making process – starting with clay preparation and ending with the painting of the objects.

11:30 – 12:30 DEMOS AND PRESENTATIONS – previous participants in the program will talk about their work and show their working processes
11:30 Lena Dubinsky – A slide presentation of her works and work methods
11:50 Yael Mor Gruner – Will demonstrate making a composite pot
12:10 Dima Gurevich – Will demonstrate making a cast ceramic object
13:00 – 14:00 UNIQUE SOUND PERFORMANCE
A first time collaboration between keyboard, electronic music and the basalt bells (made by Roy Yahalomi as part of his final project in the Industrial Design department of the Holon Institue of Technology – Roy is also a resident artist at the Benyamini Center) The musicians are Nir Yatzkin (keyboard) and Omri Blau (bells).
