Every day we are exposed to various sources of inspiration, some of which are physically located around us and some enter the inspirational drawer, perhaps one day we use them. Our world is material, rich and interesting, and it provides great sources of inspiration. I create objects from different materials in mixed techniques that carry the nature of the work processes and properties of the material, thereby blurring the boundary between the useful  object and the sculptural object. My work is characterized by sharp edges, exposed seam lines, and exposed surfaces with textures. I create in porcelain and emphasize the properties of transparency and fineness alongside coarse material that gives an primary and raw appearance. This combination creates tension and formal aesthetic to which I aspire in each of my works.

  2009-2010 –   Diploma studies for graphic design, Sapir College, Sderot
