In my work I am interested in aesthetics and the research of human culture. I focus on complex objects that are wheel thrown and then combined with hand building, printing, casting and ready-made.  I use the familiar functional vessel and charge it with meaning when placed as a sculptural object in a space referring to ceramic tradition in various cultures (Far-East, West, Eastern Europe) and forms that are found naturally in nature. Sometimes I eliminate the normal and familiar function and reconstruct the object with a new set of rules and logic and so reconsider proportions and relationships.
