Why Clay?

I started working in clay as a kid. From the very first encounter with it, I loved the touch and the possibility of creating worlds. Since I started creating with clay at such a young age, this work became an integral part of me

What do I want to convey?

Through the works, I seek to create a mindset. Each series of works creates a different atmosphere/frame of mind

What characterizes my work process?

I usually start a project or a series of works guided by the kind of mindset that I want to instill in the clay and through it to the work. While building, the shape becomes apparent. Today I work with soft slabs. The work on display here was created with one guideline as a starting point – the small slits/openings

My tool of choice … can’t create without it:

Cutting knife

Absolutely necessary in my working environment:

Quiet
