Porcelain is attractive to amateur and professional ceramists even before they have tried working with it. In the workshop students will make porcelain pots on the wheel learning the characteristics while trying to understand the advantages and disadvantages. We will wedge, center, and create a variety of forms as well as a range of surface techniques that work well on porcelain.
Wheel throwing experience required.
