The magic of ink and brush |Traditional Japanese painting| Tal Shimizu

Japanese ink painting expresses deep ideas and refinement developed over hundreds of years. Learning Japanese painting requires intensive practice of brushwork and opens a whole wonderful world of Japanese aesthetic and thought.  In the workshop we will learn about the “four treasures”, tools of every calligrapher and painter, painting a variety of classic compositions that will enrich the ceramic surface with brushwork.

Experience in clay not required.
