Kintsugi is a Japanese mending technique using silver and gold which requires patience and accuracy. In the workshop we will become familiar with the materials used for joining the broken pieces as well as the background, culture and the Japanese philosophy of this technique. We will transform the break into a beautiful part of the vessel as a decorative element in silver or gold. Participation includes a personal kit that can be used for works made in the future.
