A color workshop where participants will bring bisque fired works and experiment with commercial glazes, crystalline glazes and adding color to glazes. After firing we will add decals, on-glaze drawing with a brush or nib, and lusters. The works will be completed in a Raku firing that will change the character of the surface and demonstrate the ongoing conversation between maker and kiln.
Hand building or wheel throwing experience required
