Pate de verre is a technique of making colored, decorative, thin objects from crushed glass fused in a mold. The workshop will begin with a lecture about the technique and a demo focusing on the advantages and limitations. Participants will make a model and then a plaster mold of the object which will be the form for the work to be made in glass, learning how to prepare the glass and the mold for firing.
