In the workshop we will practice wedging, centering, and throwing a cylinder as a basic form for most wheel thrown objects learning to use all the clay and perfect the shape. We will prepare colors based on clay, water, and pigment, engobes, which give a broad color palette to apply to the works made in the workshop using a variety of techniques.
