Name of the work: Safe ground
About the work: In my final project at Bezalel, the starting point for me as an artist today, I chose to go back in time and to delve into my past – where I came from and where I am now. I returned to my childhood landscape in Kiryat Tivon and looked for and drew the images that were marked in my memory. Myself in the present I represented in the pots I made using different techniques on the wheel, connecting two styles that I use, clays that are engraved and painted porcelain. The group of works reflect images of my landscape, my memories and the person I am today.
