Terms of Use –Benyamini Center Website
- General
1.1 Welcome to the Benyamini Contemporary Ceramics Center website (hereinafter: the “Website” or the “Internet Site”). The Benyamini Center permits access to the Website subject to all the terms detailed below (hereinafter: the “Terms of Use”).
1.2 These Terms of Use are addressed to all genders and apply to all users of the Website. The use of masculine language is for convenience only and shall be deemed to include all genders.
1.3 The Benyamini Center reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to update, amend, or modify these Terms of Use, the Website’s structure, content, appearance, scope, availability of services, and any other aspect related to the Website, its operation, or the services provided therein. Any such updates or changes shall take effect upon publication on the Website, unless otherwise stated by the Benyamini Center. The version of the Terms appearing on the Website at any given time shall be the binding version.
1.4 Please read these Terms of Use carefully, as use of the Website and its content constitutes your agreement to and acceptance of these Terms.
1.5 Any person who purchases through the Website and/or uses any of the services offered therein declares that they are aware of these Terms and agree to all provisions herein, and that neither they nor anyone on their behalf shall have any claim, demand, or action against the Website owners, operators, or anyone acting on their behalf, except for claims arising from a breach of the Benyamini Center’s obligations under these Terms.
1.6 The Website enables the purchase of books and/or tickets to various events organized by and/or on behalf of The Benyamini Center via credit card.
- Definitions
In these Terms, the following definitions shall apply unless the context indicates otherwise:
2.1 “Purchaser” or “User” – Any person purchasing an item or an admission ticket to an event held as part of the Benyamini Center’s activities via the Website, and/or any person browsing the Website.
2.2 “Event Ticket” or “Ticket” – An admission ticket to one of the events listed on the Website and offered for sale.
2.3 “Transaction” – The purchase of an event ticket via credit card on the Website or by telephone through a The Benyamini Center representative.
2.4 “Service” or “Services” – The option to purchase event tickets via the Website. Ordering services through the Website shall be deemed, for all intents and purposes, as ordering tickets.
2.5 “Payment Page” – The page on the Website where the purchaser must enter credit card details and personal information to complete a transaction.
- Transactions and Payment
3.1 Ticket inventory for events offered on the Website is limited; therefore, orders are subject to availability.
3.2 Prices published on the Website are in New Israeli Shekels (NIS). The Benyamini Center reserves the right to change prices at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, and the user waives any claim in this regard.
3.3 Transactions on the Website or via the Benyamini Center’s telephone service require the provision of personal identification details and valid credit card information accepted by the Benyamini Center.
3.4 The credit card will be charged in full at the time the order is placed.
3.5 Orders must be properly received and recorded by the Website, including all required details. The Benyamini Center notes that technical errors or disruptions may occur. If the purchaser receives an error message, incorrect order details, or does not receive confirmation by email, the purchaser must contact The Benyamini Center during regular business hours (Sunday–Thursday, 09:00–19:00).
3.6 The purchaser must ensure that all identification details are accurate and up to date. Providing incorrect details may prevent ticket delivery. Intentionally providing false information is strictly prohibited, and The Benyamini Center reserves the right to take legal action.
- Cancellation Policy
5.1 Transaction cancellations must be submitted by email only to: [email protected].
5.2 Transactions cannot be canceled less than 48 hours prior to the event.
5.3 In any cancellation, a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction amount or NIS 10 (whichever is higher) will be charged.
5.4 If an event is postponed, the ticket will remain valid for the new date, subject to notification by the Benyamini Center.
5.5 Cancellation following postponement shall be subject to the same terms outlined above.
5.6 If an event is canceled for reasons not dependent on the purchaser, the purchaser will be entitled to a full refund without any cancellation fee.
- Publications
Information and publications on the Website do not constitute professional advice or recommendations and should not be relied upon. Any use of such information is at the user’s sole responsibility.
- Privacy and Confidentiality
7.1 During use of the Website, statistical information is collected regarding pages viewed, content of interest, duration of visits, and actions performed. This information is non-identifying and used for statistical purposes only.
7.2 Personal information provided during transactions is stored in the Benyamini Center’s database.
7.3 The Benyamini Center employs reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute protection against breaches or disruptions.
7.4 The Benyamini Center may use users’ details to contact them regarding promotions, services, or updates.
7.5 The user acknowledges and accepts the provisions of this section and waives any claim regarding potential privacy breaches.
- Use of the Website and User Obligations
8.1 Users undertake to use the Website lawfully and refrain from harmful, misleading, abusive, illegal, or infringing activity.
8.2 The Benyamini Center shall be the sole authority in determining violations.
8.3 Purchases are permitted for users aged 18 and above only.
