Above and Below the Surface- Benyamini Center Lecture Series 2021-22

The annual lecture series is returning in an online format of eight meetings with artists and designers – who will talk about different aspects of their practice and the practice of others. 

This year the meetings will exposure to contemporary artists from abroad that have a unique and fascinating approach to ceramics. The meetings will focus on artists abroad from a broad variety of professional backgrounds who will talk about their work and the work of others who inspire them and discuss the complex relationship between maker and the making process and the influence of the creation/object on the user or observer. 

The lectures are suitable for the general public.

The meetings will be one to one and half hours long once a month on Sunday evenings at 20:00 on Zoom starting 28/11/2021 / *Registration will close at 19:00 on the day of the lecture.

Participation:

*40 NIS per meeting / 30 NIS for Benyamini students- advance registration required / *Registration will close at 19:00 on the day of the lecture.

*You can purchase a package of 7 online lectures for only 250 NIS (35 NIS per lecture instead of 40 NIS). If you purchase the whole package, you will also have access to the recorded lecture for 48 hours should you be unavailable at the time of the online lecture (via Gmail account).
