Japanese ink painting expresses deep ideas and refinement that developed over hundreds of years. Learning Japanese painting requires long practice of brushwork and opens a whole wonderful world of Japanese aesthetic and thought. In the workshop we will learn about the “four treasures”, tools of every calligrapher and painter, painting a variety of classic compositions that will enrich the ceramic surface with brushwork.
Experience in clay is not required.
