The meaning of the word ikebana is giving new life to a flower. The workshop will include a theoretical and visual explanation about ikebana and then a demo of hand building techniques using pinching and coiling which will then be applied by each participant. After firing we will learn to make a Japanese style flower arrangement in the pots we created. “Moribana” Style to welcome the New Year arrival.
