An introduction to clay and its characteristics covering various hand building techniques. Students will create forms that are functional or sculptural and learn about surface, texture, color, and glaze, developing creativity and personal expression. The classes will cover theoretical aspects, work by ceramic artists as well as other sources of inspiration and content.
No previous experience required.
