Max Cheprak / Extruded material

Ceramic extrusion enables the compression of ceramic material through an opening to produce accurate, composite and delicate profiles. The field of ceramics uses extruding mainly to produce bricks for construction. This project conducted a study examining the possibility of producing, through extrusion, unusual products, such as vases, kitchenware, musical instruments and more. The final pair of stools are inspired by the carved wood design of the Mashrabiya and Islamic ornamentation. Department of Industrial Design, HIT - Holon Institute of Technology
