Wheel throwing or Hand building | Arabesque | Amnon Amos
The arabesque is an abstract motive of forms and lines intertwining, creating geometrical patterns. In the workshop we will examine this form through history, culture, architecture and art and find ways to make this image into a three- dimensional form improving technical skills.

A tribute to an artist is an accepted creative action which allows for research, learning and extending a makers practice from the familiar. In the workshop we will focus on ceramic artists examining concept, technique, color and biography. The participants will make work inspired by an artist expanding their use of materials, forms, surface and color palette.
Experience in hand building or wheel throwing required.
